Dion offers a variety of trauma-sensitive movement classes throughout the week. Her unique background in yoga, dance, and pilates plus her extensive training in trauma-informed practices allows her to guide students through healing movement utilizing mindfulness, awareness, and compassion. 

First time practicing with Dion?

Prior to practicing with Dion, whether individually or in group classes, please first schedule a brief phone consultation, where you both can get acquainted, ask questions, and learn how to support your movement journey.

1. Consultation

We can meet over zoom or on the phone to ensure that this practice is what you're looking for. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

2. Initial Session

If it appears to be a good fit, we will book an initial 30-50 minute movement session to explore, together, what practice will best support you.

3. Moving Forward

Together, we may create a plan for our sessions. Whether virtual or in person, individual or group practice, and determine a suitable schedule.

Courtyard Yoga

Courtyard Yoga is a small group movement class grounded in yoga, Pilates, and functional movement, and facilitated with an emphasis on trauma-informed key elements. Through a series of mindful movements, along with breath, you will be invited to notice the sensations and feelings experienced in the present moment and have the opportunity to practice agency within your body. The courtyard is a beautiful, private outdoor space which may allow you to have a compassionate connection with your body while immersed in a calming natural environment.  All are welcome!

Single class $25 (pre-registration required)

Dance Jam! is an energetic cardio-fitness class that requires no previous dance experience, only a willingness to create joy through movement. You will have the opportunity to warm-up your body, prepare your mind, learn a sequence of movements to upbeat music, and repeat the routine in progression. With the intention that everyone feels a sense of joy and success, options for personal interpretation and accessibility are always offered. 

Each class will have its own style and choreography, the series is not cumulative, so come to one or as many classes as your schedule allows. You can to either pre-register by clicking the button below and or just show up on the day of class.

BOOK A CLASS

Please note that for Courtyard Yoga group classes, pre-registration is required in order to reserve your mat space.  Class size is limited to 6 participants.  If this is your first time practicing with Dion, she will reach out to check in, get a sense of where you are at, and answer any questions you may have.  The courtyard location will be provided once contact has been made.

To join a class, simply click on the register button in the scheduler box below, create an account and sign the class waiver form. From there, you will be able to buy individual classes and pre-register for as many classes as you would like.
